skinny bitches

I think of myself as skinny.   I lost a bunch of weight that I hated for years and now I get to enjoy the figure I always wanted.  But I also consider myself a normal person that gets to complain about skinny bitches.  I think I'm allowed, feel free to think differently.  Maybe some of this is haterade is just trapped inside from my years of being unhappy in my skin - but in my defense I only hate way too skinny bitches.  Not because I want that figure or to be 100 lbs (well OK maybe a little - but seriously I think my size is best for me - and I don't like anorectic whispers from my grandma! LOL)  But I think women have a responsibility to keep the rest of sane.  Lea Michele I'm talking to you.  Way to have a normal body that some women can relate to - and then drop 30 lbs rapidly.  It weirds me out that because you are on TV or in films you must fit into this very small bubble of people who don't eat.  Seems really unfair to the rest of us! and what about all the teens out there, unhappy in their own imperfect skin.  You were a role model for a second.  Way to get scooped up into the fame.  I dont blame you - the skinniest bitches get the most screen time. But I feel like the VERY next article I read will be about her battle with anorexia.  I think you need to eat to have a hit show?

OK so she is pretty skinny from the get-go, and looks great I think

Here she is a few months later, obviously with a new trainer added to her entourage.  And I get it, she wants to be like all the other skinny bitches in Hollywood.   ...and was trying to bag her costar??  I think she looks OK here, but I noticed unneeded weight loss.  Message I got: former body was not red carpet worthy...  I wonder if her fans noticed.

Now these next ones just make me sad!  You didn't need to go there Lea, but now that you did - DONT LOSE ANYMORE (I sound like my grandma? SI!)

80% of women opt for surgery - yikes

How do people have a few thousands lying around?  Weight Watchers is only like $13 a week and will crack your food abuse - not crack you open.

The Aftermath

Not sure what it was.  Probably the great tan.  Makes you think you are super hot and you can eat all day without a care in the world!  Well 7 days of being home from Cabo and pigging out is an appropriate word for my behavior.  I crept onto the scale, first time in about 2 weeks and BAM the aftermath.  I blame 2 things.  1 Cabo aftermath - 10 cocktails a day and buffets a plenty will do wonders to the tummy pooch.  and 2 - the pigging out I did when I got home in celebration that there was no vacation pics in the future! Both of these monsters created a gain of a full 9 lbs.  might as well be 10 right? geez.   Well if that's not a slap in the face, what is??  How was I running around in Cabo about a week ago and feeling GREAT in a bikini??  Now I'm looking at a number I have not seen in MONTHS!  Needless to say I NOW have motivation from the scale to get back to normal asap.  Also there is a pool party on sat!  Salads for dinner please!

WOAH - Getting back on track

It has been a minute!  I blame the candy in the stock room. It has been there all 5 years I have worked here, but for some reason it took until bikini season for me to listen to the evil little voice.  When I think about it, the fact that it took 5 years to start snacking on the 100% pure CRAP goodness is someting to be proud of! But now what do I do?  It's there! and Airheads have never tasted so good.  Work got a little slower around here a while back, which caused boredom and one day a tip toeing into the kitchen for SOMETHING TO DO.  Not sure why that happens but it does.  That's why normal people should never keep boxes of candy at  home (or at work for that matter?!)  So after a few days of candy indulging and why I'm at it, what does a soda hurt?  I felt HUGE.  Well not huge but FULL and BLOATED and it was not going anywhere (even after the usual "2 day relax it will go" away period).  I put myself into gear, mostly because of a bikini bound vacation in the horizon.  THANK GOODNESS I was able to recognize the vacation is near and now is crunch time.  LITERALLY  I should be doing crunches and squats and making my body ready for all inclusive eating and drinking!  Sadly, since I had a pooch in the works, it was hard to get motivated and I already felt like had taken a step backwards.  Back to the basics I guess, eat well and all will be well.  I was able to STOP THE MADNESS. hah.  NO candy, didn't even look at it and swore off sodas and even coffee until the vacation in a month.

(I just want to note that scarfing on candy and sodas is the exact reason I was not writing about skinny jeans hah - that was probably obvious?)

Well, vacation came and went and there were 300  bikini pics involved!  Not too shabby, and a great tan to show off.  I should start another entry now on how to eat and drink all inclusive and still wear hot dresses every night, not an easy task but someone has to do it!

WW + McDs?

After seeing this headline, I admit I jumped excitedly on the info.  How can McDs include points on their menus???  What the heck are they promoting?  The one sandwich (hold the mayo) that is WW friendly?

False advertising anyone?  Poor defenseless new zealanders...  Aren't they known for being healthy people?  Maybe if they scarf down a lot of nuggets and fillets Americans can get a better rap!

FIBER-NOMENAL!

Love this article I just found about the #1 weight loss supplement.....

FIBER!

TOTALLY AGREE!   and where oh where has my fiber content gone?  One of my super skinny aunt's swears by this fiber-nomenon bread...

I'm not a vitamin/supplement user, I just CAN'T figure out the "take one a day" thing.  BUT, I will keep an eye out at the grocery store and I'm stocking up on fiber STAT!

Read the article here:

WTH = WTF!

Waist to Hip(WTH) ratio, not a big deal right!  hmph...  I just plugged in my numbers, please see below:

Your Waist to Hip Ratio is 1.32 and appears to indicate an increased risk for heart disease and diabetes.
You may wish to talk to a doctor about losing weight. Or you can get started on your own by eating right and getting regular exercise.

WTH = WTF!  This can't be right.  I'm checking my numbers now... how can I be a risk?   yikes...

5 mins later:
*** OK so I pulled the measuring tape (USB cable) tighter this time - and turns out I DID mix up the numbers... but sadly I'm still a risk!

Your Waist to Hip Ratio is 0.81 and appears to indicate an increased risk for heart disease and diabetes.
You may wish to talk to a doctor about losing weight. Or you can get started on your own by eating right and getting regular exercise.

I think this calculator sucks, but feel free to try haha =   http://www.healthcalculators.org/calculators/waist_hip.asp
